Replace bottom switch #8 part number 5304440026 $18.05 that most likely have been melted.
There are two of these - One on top and bottom of the latch hook assembly #37.
There is another middle switch #9 but this switch and the one on top #8 not found to be melted. Although you can replace them all if you want. Switch #9 part number 5303319559 $30.36
Tools involved are:
Medium bit philips screwdriver
Needle nose pliers and/or tweezers
Small flat blade screwdriver
Digital camera
Steps to replace are:
1. Remove power - Unplug the unit unless you want to cook your fingers or parts of your
face.
This unit will actually turn on with the oven door closed if you put upward pressure on the
door handle.
2. Remove 2 maybe 3 long screws that is holding the top grill #16 and carefully lift up and
out with out breaking the plastic claws.
3. Remove #27 screw holding keypad assembly then lift up and out.
4. Remove latch hook assembly by holding the claws and pulling up.
*note you don't really need to unhook the wires to the switches or to the keypad assembly as they can be rotated so that it is out of the way. If you want to remove the wires to be sure to note them down or take a digital photo.
5. Locate bottom switch and remove the two wires. Make a note to where they are
connected on the switch.
Removal are easier with a the tweezers or the long nose because some of them have
connectors with a small lock
pin that need to be pushed out with the tweezers or pliers when sliding them out.
6. Carefully remove the switch without breaking the latch hook assembly. The switch has a
post going though it at one end so be careful not to break that post. I used the flat blade
screw driver to lift it off.
7. Replace all parts doing the steps in reverse.
Test microwave to see if it works.
Good luck.
